BRIDAL MAKEUP
Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all wedding bookings made with Megan Armstrong.
TRAVEL
Megan Armstrong Makeup services Wagga and surrounds.Megan can be mobile for wedding bookings only and requires a minimum of 4 makeups for any call out in Wagga Wagga. Further travel requires a minimum of 6 makeups. Travel inside of Wagga is included in your bridal package. Travel outside of Wagga will had a travel fee. This fee covers any travel time including travel there and back, set up/down time and allows extra time to touch up each makeup before departure.Further travel fees are calculated by distance and are to be disclosed in a personal quote provided to you.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENT
To secure your bridal booking, a deposit of $200 is required. Booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
Deposits are non refundable and are in place to cover any last minute cancellations and change of mind etc.If you must postpone your wedding, your deposit will be transferred to your new date.However, if you choose a date where is an unavailable, your deposit will be forfeited.
The deposit will be taken off total quoted amount when full payment is due.
Full payment is required to be paid via bank transfer within the 7 days leading up to wedding date. This is to avoid having to worry about it on the day.
BRIDAL TRIALS
It is a requirement of booking wedding makeup with Megan that all brides have a bridal trial.Trials are available on any Saturday and are held from my home studio. The cost of a bridal trial is $180. Any changes you are wanting to make can be sent through and we can adjust accordingly on the wedding day. More than one trial is mostly welcome however the bride will be responsible for payment of each trial received.​It is absolutely essential that we have this time aside to meet and discuss your requirements for your makeup prior to the wedding day. In having a trial, it take a lot of pressure off us both and will allow for a stress free morning on your big day.​I always recommend wearing the makeup for a few hours at least so that you can get an idea of how it wears on your skin. It will also give us an opportunity to ensure no irritation from any products will occur on the day.
CANCELLATION & ALTERATIONS
Cancellations and alterations of bridal bookings must me made 14 days prior to booking date. No reduction in the number of makeup applications will be accepted after the initial quote is accepted.If possible, any additional numbers, change in location and changes in timing will be accomodated.
SKIN PREPARATION
Beautifully prepped skin leads to a beautiful makeup application. ​If you are having and facial waxing done prior to your wedding, please leave a few days buffer to ensure your skin is not irritated. If adequate time is not allowed it can cause issues with foundation application.​If you are having a spray tan, please do so 2 days prior to the wedding. The day prior is not enough time for the tan to settle properly and can often cause a grey undertone under makeup.​If you are having any high performance facial treatments, please allow for 2 weeks prior to wedding.If having standard facials please allow a few days buffer.​If you need advise on any of the above treatments do not hesitate to reach out. Megan is a skin therapist by trade and can also provide these services to you.
